so i've been at my dads house for over a week now. this is kinda strange because up until a week ago i hadn't lived or stayed here at all since the summer. i had a somewhat irrational idea of how things would be with my stepmom. luckily she trusts me alot more now and things are damn plesant. not to mention they just bought me a new tempur pedic mattress about a month ago as well as a couple thousand dollars worth of furniture from Underhills in Redmond I believe..

last night brita, tim, davy, gio and nick came over and we watched the burbs starring tom hanks. i forgot how funny it was! the brod out corey feldman character and his friends were great in the most 80s skater way. one exclaimed worriedly "the pizza dude!!!!" when a car smashed into the aforementioned driver's vehicle, spillin pizza pies all over the road :(

also had a masters and johnson practice yesterday, which was rad. i really like that once we learn a song we can usually play it without messing up. it really helps prevents the dreaded 3 hour practice :0 although i do love a good jam

its funny, the main reason i came over here was to record this song for this dale chihuly video. in it he makes this new kinda art with some sort of glass?? paint that he hits up with a blowtorch for final effects. its really rad to watch him in action, imagining what hes thinking as he makes the piece. anyways, i haven't started the song yet though i've been here since last wednesday, mostly due to me not being able to get my mics from the house where they're being borrowed. i might just end up recording with electric guitar onto tape and vocals with my low quality yet surprisingly OK sounding silver karaoke mic.

beyond this, hoping to see some friends this weekend and go to this party. also started planing a summer tour with dillon rego aka ALASKAS for the last week of july/first week of august. VERY STOKED for sure..

finally home, tour seemed soo long

but LA was amazing, maybe the best
place ive been, not as big as NYC, not
as small as seattle

tour 2

i'm in santa clara right now.. we played here last night
and in oakland the nite before.. i met up with kaz there
which was nice (seeing someone from home)..

after we get our money from the school here we're
heading down to play a radio show at UCSB
(listen online here) tonite at 10
then hangin in LA for a few days..

i have a feeling im going to do most of the driving
home but thats ok with me... we have U2,
elton john, and a bicycle records comp in the car
so i'll get by..

now on our day off

seattle was fun the first nite but everyone was

loud so i had to play loud and hurt my hand

olympia was amazing, so much awesome stuff

last nite was portland and we played with 

white fang and rob walmart

plus got to see lucky dragons at reed before 

the show!!

things are kinda bummerd right now

went to colorado last weekend and
that was pretty fun

and played at fun collective friday nite
with m+j which was great

other than that, i feel pretty lonely and
i cant seem to get myself out of
the house unless its a music obligation
(and its not my fault......)

started having to go to work early
something to complain about

tour starts next weekend for like 6 days
